IT Business Partner

About the role

We are currently looking for an IT Business Partner - R&D

The person joining will act as a link between the Research and Development and Regulatory areas and the IT department, identifying digital transformation opportunities, defining technological solutions, and leading initiatives that bring value to the business and accelerate scientific innovation.

What you'll do

Identify needs and improvement opportunities in Research and Development processes, collaborating closely with the heads of the scientific and regulatory areas.

Act as the main interlocutor between IT and the R&D areas, ensuring alignment between business needs and technological solutions.

Define the scope, objectives, planning, and costs of the technological projects for the assigned areas.

Supervise the execution of digital projects, guaranteeing compliance with quality, deadline, and budget objectives.

Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of technological solutions for laboratories, research, clinical trials, and regulatory management.

Guarantee the correct integration between scientific platforms and corporate systems.

Coordinate and supervise functional, integration, and validation tests, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.

Drive digital innovation, automation, and advanced data exploitation initiatives within the R&D areas.

Ensure compliance with GxP regulations, Data Integrity, and regulatory requirements applicable to the area's computer systems.

Identify training needs and promote the adoption of new technological tools by users.

Monitor the results obtained following the implementation of new solutions, ensuring the generation of value for the business.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement and digital transformation within the Research and Development areas.

Knowledge of RIMS, CTMS, eTMF, LIMS, ELN platforms, and other scientific solutions.

Electronic document management (DMS/EDMS).

Application and data integration.

ERP and corporate ecosystems.

Artificial Intelligence applied to Life Sciences environments.

Cloud Platforms.

Business knowledge

Comprehensive R&D process (research, preclinical, and clinical development).
