IT Business Systems Analyst
Salary: $94,713 + superannuation
- Full time, Temporary (Parental Leave replacement to August 2027)
- Band 6, Starting salary $94,713 plus superannuation
The Role
Join the IT Business Systems & Innovation team and play a key role in supporting and improving the City's core business applications and technology initiatives.
Working closely with business stakeholders, vendors and technical teams, you will help identify opportunities for improvement, translate business requirements into practical solutions, and support the delivery of system enhancements across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and improving critical business applications, including TechnologyOne and Infor Pathway
- Undertaking business analysis and process improvement activities
- Coordinating and supporting system upgrades, projects and enhancement initiatives
- Working with vendors and stakeholders to investigate issues and implement solutions
- Assisting with application configuration, testing, documentation and user support
- Building strong relationships across the organisation to ensure systems continue to meet business needs
This is a temporary parental leave backfill position to August 2027.
About You
As the successful applicant, you are a customer-focused and solutions-oriented professional with experience in business analysis, application support, process improvement or business systems administration.
You will demonstrate:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with enterprise business applications.
- The ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
Relevant qualifications and experience working with local government software platforms such as TechnologyOne, Infor Pathway or similar enterprise systems would be highly regarded.
A satisfactory Police Record Check is required for this position.
