IT Buyer

Job Summary

We are looking for Buyers to manage purchasing for IT equipment, servers, networking products and project-related supplies. You will work with internal teams and suppliers to secure suitable products and services at competitive cost, while meeting project specifications and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase servers, networking equipment, IT products and related services based on project requirements.
• Source and assess suppliers; request quotations and compare pricing, delivery terms, service levels and product suitability.
• Support commercial negotiations and supplier selection.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, delivery records and acceptance documents.
• Track orders and delivery schedules, and keep internal teams updated on progress.
• Monitor supplier performance, product quality and compliance with agreed requirements.
• Resolve supply issues and coordinate alternative products or arrangements when needed.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records.
• Support supplier evaluations and identify opportunities to improve cost, delivery and supply reliability.
• Assess lead times, costs, service levels and supply risks when recommending purchasing arrangements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• At least 2–5 years of relevant buying, purchasing or procurement experience.
• Experience with IT equipment, servers, networking products or engineering project procurement is preferred.
• Familiarity with supplier sourcing, quotation comparisons, commercial negotiations and delivery tracking.
• Strong cost awareness and ability to identify and manage supply chain risks.
• Able to assess product suitability, lead times, costs, service levels and supplier reliability.
• Strong communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Indonesian language skills are an advantage.
