About the role
As an IT Cluster Manager, you will be responsible for financial steering of IT for a group of companies within ERGO International. This role ensures transparency and effective financial steering of IT across ERGO International entities.
You will work closely with local CIOs and CFOs to ensure transparency, consistency and quality of IT financial data and to support decision-making on costs, investments and portfolio priorities. This role combines financial management, data analysis and stakeholder advisory. You will translate financial and operational data into clear insights and recommendations and support the implementation of group-wide standards, processes and tools.
You will also contribute to the integration and transformation of IT organizations across the cluster, ensuring alignment with group frameworks (e.g. TBM) and improving overall cost efficiency and value delivery.
How you will get the job done
delivering IT financial steering activities based on the TBM framework and corporate processes (planning, forecasting, budgeting, KPI management, cost allocation)
collaborating with key stakeholders including CIOs, CFOs, IT Portfolio Management, Architecture, Infrastructure and Development teams
collecting, validating and structuring financial and operational data from multiple entities
analyzing data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and performance drivers
preparing analyses, reports and recommendations to support management decisions
developing and validating business cases, from requirements clarification to final approval
supporting integration and transformation initiatives across the cluster, from planning to execution
optimizing IT portfolio (projects, products, services) using financial and value-based criteria
designing and improving processes and guidelines in line with group governance
promoting knowledge sharing and alignment across entities within the cluster

developing and enhancing reporting solutions (data models, dashboards, data flows)
Skills and experience you will need
fluency in English
strong experience working at the interface of IT and Finance, ideally in IT controlling, IT financial management or similar roles
solid understanding of IT cost structures, budgeting and forecasting (CAPEX, OPEX, cost allocation, cost drivers)
experience in applying or working within IT financial frameworks (e.g. TBM or comparable models)
ability to translate financial and operational data into clear insights, management-ready analyses and recommendations
experience working with senior stakeholders (CIO, CFO, IT leadership) and supporting decision-making processes
strong analytical thinking combined with a structured, pragmatic approach to problem-solving
hands-on experience in data modelling, reporting and analysis (e.g. Power BI, Excel, or comparable tools)
track record in contributing to transformation or integration initiatives across multiple entities or teams
high level of ownership, reliability and ability to work independently with limited guidance
