IT Consultant (m/f/d) – Microsoft 365 & Modern Work

Your tasks **Why this position exists** The Mittelstand is modernizing its workplace – Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Teams and increasingly Copilot. We are deliberately expanding this business and are looking for you as the technical face of it: you plan and implement migrations, advise customers at eye level, and work in tandem with our Business Development Manager Microsoft, who drives sales, while you build the solutions. Important: We fill this role according to experience level. Whether you want to get started with 1–2 years of M365 practice or have already led migration projects – we adapt tasks, goals and salary to your level. What is non-negotiable: genuine enthusiasm for the Microsoft cloud. **Your role – four focus areas** **Implementing projects (approx. 50%):** You plan and carry out Microsoft 365 projects on your own responsibility: tenant setup, Exchange migrations (hybrid and online), Entra ID, Intune rollouts with Autopilot, Teams introductions. **Advising customers (approx. 25%):** You conduct workshops, design solutions, harden environments with security baselines (Conditional Access, Defender) and guide customers on the path to Copilot readiness. **Operations & further development (approx. 15%):** You look after existing customer environments at 2nd and 3rd level and continuously develop them rather than just working through tickets. **Sharing knowledge (approx. 10%):** You keep our team up to date on Microsoft innovations and support pre-sales meetings as a technical sparring partner. **What we measure success by together after 12 months** - You independently own M365 migration projects from planning through handover - You have carried out at least one Intune rollout - You have technically supported a Copilot or security project at a customer - You have passed a Microsoft certification (e.g. MS-102, MD-102 or SC-300) The specific goals behind this we will agree on together – depending on your entry level. Must haves **What you bring** - Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint or Intune) – 1–2 years is enough, more is welcome - Basic understanding of the on-premises world (Active Directory, Exchange) so that migrations succeed - You explain technology clearly and genuinely listen to customers - Independent, structured way of working - Business-fluent German, good English (manufacturer documentation), driver's license class B **What we do NOT expect** - Detailed knowledge of each of the 20+ Microsoft 365 services - Certificates as an entry ticket – you earn them with us, at our expense - Ten years of professional experience We are more interested in where you want to go than where you come from.
