We are looking for an IT Specialist to provide technical expertise, support IT operations, and collaborate with both local and global teams. You will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to ensure stable systems, manage technical requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement of IT services in a manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do
- Provide subject matter expertise on IT technologies to other IT and business teams.
- Interpret technical requirements into business requirements and communicate relevant risks and recommendations to stakeholders, ranging from business leaders to engineers.
- Monitor, track, and report system status, compliance, and IT controls.
- Conduct and support IT operational tasks and activities.
- Support technical audits, tests, and self-assessments.
- Review, support, and approve related service requests.
- Collaborate with the global IT community to continuously improve IT services and processes.
- Collect and consolidate requirements for local services.
- Raise awareness of IT policies and best practices within IT and the wider user community.
- Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
- Evaluate and support the selection of products and services.
- Participate in or lead IT projects to implement new or improved solutions.
- Support IT projects in the identification, assessment, and mitigation of technical risks.
- Participate in global IT projects.
What You Will Need
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information & Communication Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of IT or industry working experience.
- Experience working in manufacturing plants.
- Strong knowledge of Windows technologies, security concepts, and applications; MCSE Certification is an advantage.
- Experience with Microsoft Technology, PC/Laptop and Mobile Solution Technology.
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent knowledge is preferred.
- Experience in IT projects.
- Upper intermediate level of English (written and spoken).
