IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS/INFOSEC)

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA J9(HAC)/HYBRID CLOUD SOLUTIONS OFFICE.

Develop and maintain business, systems, and information processes to support enterprise mission needs, including IT rules and requirements for baseline and target architectures.

Direct comprehensive analyses to define and implement strategic efforts supporting on-premise and off-premise cloud infrastructure operations.

Perform needs analyses and consult with customers and vendors to define requirements for new or improved business process solutions and emerging technologies.

Provide authoritative technical advice and assistance to system administrators, cybersecurity engineers, and managers on existing and future service offerings and their sustainment.

Analyze and identify potential risk areas when implementing hardware changes and modifications to operational support models.
