IT Data Engineer
Summary
Build and maintain ETL pipelines and data warehouses using SQL Server, SSIS, and cloud tools to move and transform enterprise data.
2–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or ETL Developer.
Hands-on experience with ETL processes and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
Strong SQL skills (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Query Optimization).
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
Understanding of Data Warehouse and Data Modeling concepts.
Experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Knowledge of Python, Azure Data Factory, or other ETL tools is a plus.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data infrastructure role, typically 3+ years
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or SQL
Hands-on experience with big data technologies including Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar frameworks
Solid understanding of database design, data warehousing concepts, and relational and non-relational databases
Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline orchestration platforms
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Experience with version control systems and software development best practices
Preferred: Experience with real-time data processing, data governance, and knowledge of DevOps practices
