IT Delivery / Hypercare Manager

Salary: $110 – $130 per hour, plus super

This role is with a large organisation, which has a commensurably scaled IT team.

This role will be based in Sydney's CBD, but some work may need to be completed at times from their Parramatta office.

It is hybrid - normally 3 days in the office; 2 days WFH.

From a systems point of view, our client basically wants someone who has project experience with large applications implementations, so SAP, Salesforce, et al, is needed (for scale experience).

Please note: this is not a software development PM role, nor is it a project management role per se, so we do not want pure PMs applying (and, yes, we well know PMs do delivery...). This role is definitely all about the back end of projects, so delivery and hypercare focus.

I should note here that change management has been an integral part of the project from 'day 1'.

Why has this role come about? - The PM who started this project has gotten it well advanced but has to withdraw due to personal reasons.

As per the above, the contract is reasonably unlikely to extend beyond the initial 6 months.

At times you will be dealing with senior C-level internal stakeholders who are very business focused, so it is important you are able to get on their wave-length and talk the right language.

There will also be senior vendor stakeholders to 'manage'.

Some formal tertiary education is preferred, and on the technical side, we would prefer Prince2 and ITIL certifications.
