IT Deputy Head/Director (Cloud/DevOps) - Hybrid
NewBe an early applicant- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunications), or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, and/or Cloud technologies, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing DevOps and Cloud platforms and teams.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in software development lifecycle best practices, continuous integration and delivery, automated deployment, patching, releases, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Proficiency in CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, SVN, Ansible, Sonar, Selenium, and similar technologies.
- Experience with containerization and container orchestration platforms.
- Proven experience working with Cloud technologies, with strong background knowledge in AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Advanced AWS or Microsoft Azure certifications and other DevOps/Cloud certifications are preferred.
- Experience using open-source tools for file processing, reporting, workflow, and automation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage platform operations, cost optimization, risk management, and compliance with BSP regulations.
- Strong people management, strategic planning, change management, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage senior management, technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- ITIL v3/v4 Service Management certification is an advantage.
