About the role
We are seeking a talented IT Developer to join our dynamic technology team at PT Enseval Medika Prima in East Jakarta, Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in developing, maintaining and enhancing our software applications and systems that support our healthcare and pharmaceutical operations. As an IT Developer, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into robust technical solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to the continuous improvement of our technology infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects that directly impact our business operations and our ability to serve the healthcare sector effectively.
What you'll be doing
Design, develop and test software applications and systems using appropriate programming languages and development frameworks
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality
Debug and troubleshoot software issues, identify root causes and implement effective solutions
Develop and execute unit tests and participate in integration testing to ensure application functionality and performance
Maintain and update existing applications, implementing enhancements and bug fixes as required
Collaborate with IT operations and support teams to ensure smooth deployment and ongoing system performance
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the development team
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve development processes
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Proven experience as a software developer or programmer with a minimum of 2-3 years in a professional development environment
Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, PHP or JavaScript
Solid understanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming and design patterns
Experience with relational databases and SQL, with ability to write efficient queries and design database schemas
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows
Knowledge of web application development frameworks and technologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
Preferred experience with healthcare or pharmaceutical industry systems is advantageous but not essential
