IT Development Manager (Agency contract)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, enhancement, and delivery of eTrading applications supporting FX, Fixed Income, and related Global Markets products.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely execution of releases, sprint planning, and stakeholder commitments.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Drive engineering excellence by overseeing Java application modernization, platform upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and system stability.
• Own and govern CI/CD pipelines, release processes, automated testing, and deployment practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, change management, release governance, and audit requirements.
• Lead production support activities, including incident management, root cause analysis, and service improvements for mission-critical trading applications.
• Maintain project documentation, technical designs, operational runbooks, and decision records within approved collaboration tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10 years proven experience in managing software development teams and delivering enterprise-scale applications within the Banking or Capital Markets domain.
• Hands on experience in Jenkins, DevSecOps practices, Agile delivery methodologies, Jira, Confluence, CI/CD pipelines, and release management processes.
• Experience of CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) and OPEX (Operating Expenditure) concepts and their application within technology projects.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, change management, incident management, and regulatory governance requirements.
