IT Development Manager

We're looking for an experienced IT Development Manager to lead our software development team in building and enhancing enterprise applications across POS, web, and mobile platforms. Responsibilities
Lead and manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle for POS, web, and mobile applications.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.
Drive software architecture decisions and ensure adherence to coding standards, clean code principles, and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Oversee system integration with SAP ERP, payment gateways, and third-party APIs.
Implement and optimize Agile/Scrum development processes to ensure timely project delivery.
Manage source code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
Mentor and develop software engineers while fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Identify technical risks, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure system reliability and performance.
Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, with experience in a leadership or managerial role.
Proven experience developing and managing POS, web, and mobile applications in a retail or enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming (OOP), software design principles, and clean code practices.
Hands-on experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, RESTful APIs, and software architecture.
Proficient in one or more modern programming languages and frameworks such as Java, .NET, PHP, Node.js, React, or similar technologies.
Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, Git version control, and CI/CD implementation.
Strong understanding of retail business processes and application integration with SAP ERP, payment gateways, and third-party APIs.
Excellent leadership, communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
