Job Description

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our IT Digital Operations Technical Analyst position.The Digital Operations Technical Analyst role is a highly organized and experienced individual who focuses on using technical skills to optimize Norco’s digital processes, analyze data, and support digital initiatives. This role involves working with stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions, and ensuring seamless integration of new and existing digital solutions. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering: Meeting with stakeholders and
    subject matter experts to understand their business needs, eliciting requirements, and
    documenting them effectively.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving technical issues with
    software used within the Norco enterprise environment. This pertains, but is not limited
    to ERP, E-Commerce, AI & Automation platforms, and Business Intelligence platforms.
  • Systems Analysis and Evaluation: Assessing existing system performance, identifying
    areas for improvement, and recommending/implementing solutions.
  • Documentation and Communication: Creating and maintaining documentation of best
    practices, operational processes, and technical specifications in order to communicate
    technical findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support and Troubleshooting: Providing support for business analysis, technology
    integration, and ongoing IT projects.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and meet project
    requirements.
  • Implementation: Developing or assisting in the development of new technologies and
    systems.
  • Training: able to assist in the development of training materials.
  • Staying current with all the latest technologies and trends in our field

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field
  • 5 years experience within the realm of Information Technology
  • 5 years' experience in Systems Development or Equivalent IT experience preferred
  • Ability to read and understand Code (e.g. Python, Powerscript, etc)
  • Ability to employ low code platforms for accomplishing semi-complex automated tasks or integrations.
  • Understanding of API development
  • Ability to write and understand SQL
  • Understanding of data-modeling (both logical and physical) of relational databases
  • Ability to work effectively in both agile and waterfall project methodologies
  • Ability to adapt to and manage changing priorities
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
  • Ability to make decisions using good judgement
  • Effective time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
