IT Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for customers.
Attend customer sites as required to troubleshoot and resolve problems or issues, and carry out scheduled maintenance.
Manage incoming incidents and requests through the Service Desk Tool.
Keep customers updated on their cases in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
Escalate high-priority matters to Management when required.
Review daily priorities and take the necessary action to achieve results.
Monitor the integrity and status of customer sites, including usage, revisions, views and reporting, while ensuring customer business requirements are maintained to the highest standard.
Install, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
Document processes and record tickets for outstanding work.
Manage high-priority incidents both on-site and off-site.
Benefits
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per year depending on experience.
40 days paid holiday annually.
At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, with experience in:
Configuring and implementing Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards (mandatory)
Office 365 Cloud (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) (mandatory)
Intune and RMM and Telephone platform experience
Network Infrastructure maintenance and installations (Routers, Switches, AP’s, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Firewalls, VLAN’s)
Ability to proactively support and collaborate with service providers.
Follow industry best practices processes.
Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 (Group Policies, Security Policies etc)
Azure administration and implementations
Good understanding and knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11 and Mac
Familiar with different client builds/imaging.
Strong customer support, written and verbal communication, and be a team player.
Ability to problem-solve independently.
