IT Engineer
Genius AI is seeking an IT Engineer to own and build the systems that enable the company to operate efficiently, including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Iru MDM, Slite, 1Password, and Claude Enterprise, as well as AI-powered workflows that automate manual operations. This is a build-focused role responsible for creating scalable IT and AI-powered tooling in a HIPAA and SOC2 environment, ensuring infrastructure is a force multiplier for the business.
Responsibilities will include:
- Architect Okta identity lifecycle with group rules, SCIM, and Expression Language to automate access management
- Own the Iru-managed endpoint fleet from zero-touch provisioning through offboarding
- Build AI-powered self-service workflows, including Claude Enterprise, to deflect requests before reaching IT staff
- Automate recurring workflows into scripted, audit-logged processes that scale beyond individual capacity
- Maintain SOC2 and HIPAA compliance, including access reviews and deprovisioning evidence
- Partner with People and functional leaders to identify opportunities for AI to accelerate new hire productivity
- Document processes in Slite to enable a small team to support a growing workforce
You’re a great fit if you:
- Have 3+ years of experience in IT engineering, identity, or endpoint systems, with deep ownership or strong hands-on exposure
- Have rebuilt workflows around AI by identifying repeatable work, automating it, and focusing on judgment-intensive problems
- Make decisions quickly, iterate, and learn from outcomes
- Have experience with Okta group rules, SCIM, or Expression Language
- Have exposure to MDM policy and macOS endpoint lifecycle, and are ready to grow into full ownership
- Are familiar with least-privilege controls or audit evidence for SOC2, HIPAA, or similar frameworks
- Are comfortable influencing Security, Engineering, or People teams, or are eager to develop this skill
- Are curious about the intersection of talent operations and IT infrastructure, and motivated to build tools that accelerate hiring and onboarding
Total Compensation
The base salary for this role is $90,000 to $120,000 plus equity and benefits. The compensation package is dependent on skills, experience, and education, and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible to participate in Genius AI’s equity plan and a range of health, wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits.
