About the role
This is an enterprise-level IT operations role responsible for managing Microsoft 365 environments, data center operations, virtualization platforms, network infrastructure, desktop support, and knowledge base development. The role requires hands-on technical expertise across multiple domains and the ability to work on-site at data centers when required.
Key responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations, configuration optimization, and user support for the Microsoft 365 environment, covering Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams
Administer M365 user accounts, license allocation, security policy configuration, and compliance management
Optimize Teams collaboration environment, including team channel management, meeting policy configuration, and call quality monitoring
Perform on-site data center operations including hardware component replacement, cable routing and adjustment, and rack inspections
Assist with rack-mount and unmount of servers and network equipment, and hardware-level fault handling such as power supplies, disks, and memory modules
Coordinate with infrastructure team on data center environmental monitoring and emergency response to ensure safe and stable operations
Deploy, monitor, optimize resources, and troubleshoot the virtualization environment using VMware vSphere and VMware Cloud Director
Configure and maintain Windows Server core services including DHCP, DNS, WSUS, WDS, Active Directory, and Remote Desktop Services
Configure, maintain, and implement security policies for network equipment including Ruijie Wireless, Huawei Switches, and Fortigate Firewalls
Write automation scripts using Python and PowerShell to optimize IT operations workflows and eliminate repetitive tasks
About you
1-3 years of enterprise-level IT operations experience with proficiency in IT operations full lifecycle management
Expert in the operations and optimization of the full M365 suite including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams
Proficient in VMware vSphere and VMware Cloud Director deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Skilled in Windows Server core services configuration and maintenance with hands-on high availability implementation experience
Familiar with Dell servers and Dell/Huawei network equipment hardware structure; able to configure and maintain Ruijie Wireless, Huawei Switches, and Fortigate Firewalls
Proficient in Python and PowerShell for writing automation scripts with IT operations process automation optimization experience
Knowledgeable in 1-2 endpoint management tools such as Manage Engine Endpoint Central or Jamf
Able to perform on-site hardware replacement and cabling in the data center as instructed, with basic hands-on capability for tasks such as screw fastening, module assembly and disassembly, and cable management
Fluent in English for speaking, listening, reading, and writing as a working language
Able to handle technical support requests for end-user desktop devices including Windows and macOS troubleshooting, system deployment, and migration
