IT Engineer
About the role
The IT Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting an organization's information technology systems, networks, hardware, software, and security infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure, servers, and IT systems.
Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware/software issues.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Monitor and maintain proper inventory of hardware and software licenses as well as other office equipment/device.
Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and data protection policies.
Perform system upgrades, patches, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
Configure and maintain cloud services and virtualization platforms.
Document IT procedures, system configurations, and technical solutions.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers for IT-related services.
Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and industry standards.
Provide support for and maintain other office equipment including telephone systems, printers and copiers.
Job Requirements
Possess a Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
Hands on and resourceful
Keen to learn and keep updated on latest cybersecurity risks, Health Information Act and PDPA
