IT Engineering Specialist I SRE

You will help ensure the resilience of a financial application by responding to and preventing incidents. You will turn incident learnings and technical risks into tools, automations, health checks, dashboards, and AI-based solutions that accelerate diagnosis, reduce manual work, and improve platform reliability.

Responsibilities

• Handle incidents and recover critical user journeys
• Prevent incidents through software engineering, automation, applied AI, and SRE practices
• Build tools, automations, health checks, dashboards, and AI solutions
• Turn incident learnings and technical risks into solutions
• Accelerate diagnostics and reduce manual work
• Propose standards and influence product and engineering teams on architectural evolution

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong software engineering experience and ability to build solutions in Python, Go, Java, or a similar language
• Experience operating production systems, responding to incidents, and performing root-cause analysis
• Knowledge of SRE and reliability practices including SLI, SLO, observability, monitoring, and alerts
• Experience with automation and DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and scripts
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS, and containers such as Kubernetes, EKS, or ECS
• Ability to communicate technical risks clearly and influence technical and business teams
