IT Enterprise Solution Architect

Phillip Life Assurance is committed to delivering innovative solutions to our customers. We are seeking a talented and experienced IT Architect to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust in-house systems for our life insurance operations.
Role and Responsibility:
- Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders, senior management, and IT teams to understand business requirements, challenges, and opportunities. Develop and maintain an overarching architectural vision for the organization's IT landscape.
- System Integration: Evaluate existing systems, applications, and platforms within the life insurance domain. Identify opportunities for integration, consolidation, or replacement to streamline operations and reduce redundancy.
- Architecture Development: Create and maintain comprehensive architecture blueprints, standards, and guidelines. Ensure that the architecture aligns with industry best practices and supports the company's digital transformation initiatives.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Evaluate new technologies and assess their suitability for adoption within the organization's IT ecosystem.
- Requirements Analysis: Work closely with business analysts to gather and refine business requirements. Translate these requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
- Solution Validation: Collaborate with development teams to ensure that solutions are developed in accordance with the architectural design and standards. Conduct architecture reviews and provide guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with architectural decisions. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address these risks.
- Vendor Management: Interact with external vendors and third-party solution providers to evaluate, select, and integrate external software, services, and platforms into the IT landscape.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, scalability, and security. Recommend and implement optimizations to enhance system reliability, responsiveness, and efficiency.
- Documentation and Communication: Document architectural decisions, guidelines, and best practices. Communicate architectural concepts and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure that IT solutions comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards, especially regarding data security and privacy in the insurance sector.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams, such as infrastructure, security, and data management, to ensure that architectural decisions align with cross-functional IT strategies.
- Has 1 SA support and plan to expand the team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10 years of working experience in software engineer, software architecture.
- Strong in SDLC life cycle.
- Proven experience as an IT Enterprise Solution Architect, preferably within the insurance industry or any financial industries.
- Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Strong background with tech stack like Angular, .Net, Java. And database C qual server, DB2 (AS400) or MongoDB.
- Experience in front-end and back-end system design, API design, Library, infrastructure design.
- Designing roadmap experience for consolidate, collective architecture.
- Familiarity with insurance industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in Infrastructure Management is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in modeling tools and software architecture design principles.
- Be able to communicate well in English
Interview Process: 1 or 2 round with SVP Operation and HR
