IT Field Technician Traveling

We are a fast-growing service integrator with global customers and projects, and we are seeking IT Field Technicians to install commercial retail and restaurant point of sale (POS) systems, structured cabling, network devices, Wireless Access Points (WAPs), etc.

Essential Functions:

• Installing commercial and restaurant POS systems, structured cabling, network devices, WAPs, etc.
• Running/terminating Cat 5/6.
• Strong communication with management, including written updates on progress.

COMPETENCIES
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware A+ preferred.
• Must provide your own hand tools, including power tools, and have the ability to use them.
• Must be able to travel to any U.S. work locations.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends and be out of town for extended periods of time as required.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work in a team environment.
• Able to work unsupervised.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with clients and team members in an efficient and professional manner.
• Must demonstrate good judgment and show respect for others.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• 2+ years of low voltage experience.
• Basic network experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Structured cabling experience.
• Experience working on a scissor and boom lift.
• Experience working in a quick-service environment.
• Computer assembly/disassembly.
• Help Desk support.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• High school degree or GED

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS OR REQUIREMENTS
• Must have valid driver’s license and meet pre-employment background and drug screen
requirements
• The company utilizes a continuous MVR monitoring system to ensure driver’s safety and
compliance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle.
• Ability to learn and use company related software proficiently.
• OSHA 30 certified required every 3 years
• MEWP scissor Lift trained & certified required every 3 years.
