Description
About the role
Metrica España is looking to incorporate an IT Flows and Processes Designer – Infrastructure and Operations with 5 years of solid experience into its team. If you are passionate about process optimization, have a strategic vision of technological infrastructure, and navigate complex environments with ease, this is your opportunity to make a difference.
As an IT Flows and Processes Designer, you will be a key piece in the continuous improvement of our infrastructure and technology operations. Your main mission will be to analyze, design, and optimize end-to-end workflows, ensuring efficiency, standardization, and alignment with the company's strategic objectives. You will work in close collaboration with various teams, acting as a fundamental link between technical and business areas.
What you'll do
- Deep Process Analysis: Perform an exhaustive analysis of existing processes in the IT infrastructure and operations areas, identifying areas for improvement, inefficiencies, and risks.
- End-to-End Flow Design: Design complete operational flows, spanning from start to finish, considering all involved actors (people, teams), support systems, data flow, and critical decision points.
- Obstacle Identification and Mitigation: Proactively detect dependencies between tasks and systems, identify bottlenecks, and propose innovative solutions to simplify and optimize processes.
- Standardization and Documentation: Establish and maintain clear standards for the graphic and documentary representation of processes and flows, ensuring consistency and universal understanding.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Facilitate and lead joint working sessions with technical teams (operations, networks, systems, security) and business teams to achieve consensus on proposed process designs.
- Bridge and Facilitator Role: Act as a crucial link between day-to-day operational experts, engineers specialized in process optimization, and architects in charge of developing automation solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement continuous improvements in existing processes and workflows, always seeking maximum efficiency and the reduction of operating costs.
- Quality Management: Ensure that designed processes comply with the highest standards of quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
What we're looking for
- Demonstrable Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the definition, modeling, and optimization of complex processes and flows, preferably in IT environments.
- Transversal Vision: Proven ability to understand and analyze the interconnection of processes in large-scale and complex organizations.
- Knowledge of IT Infrastructure and Operations: Solid understanding of key IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, storage, cloud) and technological operation practices (monitoring, incident management, change management, service desk).
- Mastery of Modeling Tools: Advanced experience in the use of diagramming and process modeling tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Bizagi Modeler, Aris, or similar. Knowledge of standards such as BPMN will be valued.
- Detailed Documentation: Experience documenting complex scenarios involving multiple teams, interconnected systems, and various functional and technical dependencies.
- Agile Methodologies: Knowledge and experience working under Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), understanding how process flows are integrated into these frameworks.
Essential Soft Skills
- Exceptional Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt the message to different audiences.
- Facilitation and Negotiation: Ability to lead meetings, facilitate discussions, manage different viewpoints, and reach agreements effectively.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong capacity for logical analysis, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making.
- Results Orientation: Proactive and goal-oriented approach, with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.
- Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and build solid working relationships.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and to new technologies or methodologies.
