IT Infrastructure Administrator – Microsoft 365 & Virtualization

Build reliable IT infrastructure and secure virtual workspaces at MKS Jewelry.

We are looking for a resourceful, hands-on IT Infrastructure Administrator to manage our Microsoft environment, maintain reliable servers and virtual machines, and help deliver practical virtual desktops/workspaces. You should enjoy solving unfamiliar technical problems, learning new tools and explaining your work clearly in English.

Salary: THB 60,000 per month.
Location: MKS Jewelry, Gemopolis Industrial Estate, Dok Mai, Prawet, Bangkok 10250.
Work arrangement: On-site.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Provision, configure and maintain virtual machines and Windows servers, including monitoring, patching and troubleshooting.

• Help evaluate, pilot and roll out secure virtual desktops/workspaces, including access, application compatibility, performance and operating costs.

• Administer Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID: user accounts, groups, licences, access permissions, MFA and identity security.

• Manage endpoint protection and device security, firewalls, VPN access and network troubleshooting.

• Maintain backups and recovery procedures, and test that important systems can be restored.

• Investigate incidents, document configurations and recovery steps, and use AI tools and reliable technical sources to improve troubleshooting and everyday workflows.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Hands-on experience provisioning and managing virtual machines using VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox or a comparable platform.

• Practical experience administering Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD.

• Experience with endpoint security, firewalls, networking fundamentals and backup/recovery.

• Comfortable spoken and written English: you can discuss technical problems, explain proposed changes and participate in regular meetings in English.

• A resourceful approach to unfamiliar problems: research, test, verify and document your solution. You can use AI tools productively and check their recommendations before applying changes.

USEFUL ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Azure VMs, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Citrix or another virtual desktop/workspace platform.

• Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint, FortiGate, Veeam or similar tools.

• PowerShell or command-line tools for routine administration and repeatable deployment.

We welcome strong infrastructure administrators who can learn a new virtual workspace platform. Previous Azure Virtual Desktop delivery is an advantage. The focus is hands-on infrastructure administration, supported by practical use of AI tools.
