IT Infrastructure Administrator (Windows & Azure) | 3-Month Contract

Currently, we are looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join one of our international clients operating in the engineering and manufacturing industry. About the role

As an IT Systems Administrator, you will become part of a collaborative IT team responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's infrastructure across multiple international locations.

This is not a typical Help Desk role. You'll combine infrastructure administration with technical support, working across 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support, while managing Microsoft technologies, cloud services and enterprise IT systems.

The team works collaboratively across all support levels, giving you exposure to a wide variety of technical challenges rather than repetitive first-line tasks.

📍 Location: Pruszcz Gdański, Poland (Hybrid: 2 days on-site / 3 day remote). Convenient location with easy access from Gdańsk by train

Your responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory and Microsoft 365.

• Manage servers, storage and virtualization environments.

• Support Microsoft Azure services and cloud infrastructure.

• Maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and VPN.

• Monitor system performance, availability and security.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking and operating system issues.

• Provide technical support across 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support.

• Implement security updates, endpoint protection and cybersecurity best practices.

• Support backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes.

• Participate in infrastructure improvements, cloud initiatives and IT projects.

• Maintain technical documentation and continuously improve internal IT processes.

We're looking for someone who has

Must-have

• Experience as an IT Systems Administrator or Infrastructure Administrator.

• Experience working in an international environment.

• Very good English communication skills.

• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

• Experience with Microsoft Azure.

• Experience with virtualization technologies.

• Good understanding of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity principles.

• Customer-oriented approach and strong troubleshooting skills.

Strong knowledge of:

• Windows Server

• Active Directory

• Microsoft 365

Nice to have

• PowerShell or Bash scripting.

• Experience with backup solutions.

• Endpoint management tools.

• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and GDPR.

• German or French language skills.
