IT Infrastructure Architect

Tasks you will become an expert in:

• Defining, planning, and estimating costs for the infrastructure requirements of IT projects.
• Providing professional support for the implementation of IT systems and overseeing their setup.
• Actively contributing to infrastructure optimization, exploring opportunities, and developing more efficient solutions.
• Actively contributing to IT strategy development.
• Examining opportunities for introducing innovative IT technologies and solutions.
• Monitoring and managing integration opportunities.
• Working closely with project managers, enterprise and solution architects, infrastructure and application operations, and DevOps colleagues.
• Developing technical documentation.
• Reviewing tender materials.
• Preparing and presenting decision-making materials.
• Developing missing regulatory processes and reviewing existing ones.

This is for you if:

• You have a higher education degree in a relevant field (IT or business informatics).
• You have professional proficiency in English.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in IT operations.
• You have at least 2 years of experience in infrastructure design.
• You have in-depth knowledge of virtualization, containerization, networking, and IT security.
• You are capable of creating complex IT solution concepts, as well as detailed plans. Furthermore, you are able to understand and review these.
• You can confidently and credibly formulate professional expectations for the IT implementation team of a given project.
• You possess strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
• You are comfortable in a corporate environment, both in terms of systems and processes, as well as the world of system connections and related technologies and tools.

Advantages:

• Experience with Apache, HAproxy, MQ, Kafka, OpenShift/Kubernetes, VMWare.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud technologies, SDN, SDS.
