IT Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer (Junior)

About the role

This role exists to co-own iVigee's IT infrastructure and DevOps capabilities alongside the IT Director. You'll keep day-to-day operations running reliably — covering Microsoft 365, Azure, endpoint management, and networking — while also building and improving CI/CD pipelines for our internal projects. You'll also be the primary technical support contact across the company, handling ad-hoc requests and automating away repetitive work wherever possible. As a ~60-person pharmacovigilance company operating in a regulated environment (GxP, GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2), reliability and a security-first mindset are essential to us. We're looking for someone curious, ownership-driven, and AI-native in how they work, who wants broad exposure across the full stack and the chance to learn fast.

What you'll do

• Co-manage and support iVigee's IT infrastructure (Microsoft 365 / Entra ID, Azure, endpoint management, networking)
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for several internal projects
• Handle DevOps tasks: containerization, deployments, automation, and monitoring
• Provide ad-hoc IT support across the company — be the go-to person when someone needs help
• Script and automate repetitive tasks wherever it saves time (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
• Use AI tooling (Claude Code / Codex) as a daily driver to move faster

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or university degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
• Entry-level to junior experience, with hands-on exposure to Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux administration (personal projects, internships, or formal employment)
• Ownership mindset, problem-solving attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn fast
• Comfortable working independently and proactively raising issues
• Native/fluent Czech or Slovak required; English proficiency at C1 level
• Required: Git (GitHub/GitLab), Docker/containerisation basics, Linux command line, CI/CD fundamentals, AI coding tools (Claude Code or Codex preferred)
• Nice to have: Azure, Microsoft 365 / Entra ID administration, Bash/PowerShell/Python scripting, networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, firewalls), infrastructure-as-code, experience in a regulated/GxP environment
