ABOUT THE POSITION
IT Infrastructure Engineer at BURGA is more than just a title - it’s a front-row seat to the evolution of a brand that’s taking the world by storm. You'll be at the heart of an extremely versatile and fast-paced environment, where new collections, campaigns, and product launches will keep you sharp and excited.
Your Role: build, operate, improve, and secure a reliable infrastructure platform that can keep up with BURGA’s growth. You’ll work closely with our IT, Data, and MES teams, taking ownership of complex infrastructure challenges and driving projects that will shape our technical environment in 2026 and beyond.
- The core platform — our virtualization cluster and container orchestration environment running production manufacturing and data workloads, end to end: provisioning, scaling, patching, capacity planning.
- Delivery & automation — a modern GitOps pipeline (source control, CI/CD, package management) that ships changes fast and safely.
- Network & security — firewalls, routing, TLS, ingress — you're the reason it's locked down and it just works.
- Observability — a full monitoring and alerting stack so we know about problems before customers do.
- Resilience — backup, disaster recovery, and restore testing across every layer of the stack, so nothing is ever truly at risk.
- A major migration — leading the move of ~16 legacy services onto our production container platform.
- Incident response — the go-to person when things break: root cause, fix, postmortem, repeat prevention.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Serious hands-on Linux and virtualization chops in a real production environment.
- Solid experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes or similar) — including troubleshooting production issues when things go wrong.
- Experience owning GitOps and CI/CD tooling, as well as infrastructure-as-code.
- Solid networking and security fundamentals — VLANs, firewalls, TLS, reverse proxies.
- Experience setting up and maintaining monitoring stacks — and using them to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset — you focus on root causes, not quick fixes, and continuously look for ways to improve the infrastructure.
SALARY: 4600 - 5000 EUR/Month GROSS. We’re open to discussing it based on your skills and competencies.
