IT Infrastructure Engineer
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management: Responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and upgrading of servers, networks, and related hardware and software.
Monitoring & Security: Perform day-to-day IT infrastructure health and security monitoring and checks.
Troubleshooting & Support: Troubleshoot infrastructure and network-related issues; respond to service requests and incidents to provide timely and effective resolutions.
Automation: Automate routine tasks using basic Bash/PowerShell scripting and high-level programming languages such as Python or Perl.
Change & Asset Management: Perform change management control to ensure all changes are trackable and properly documented; maintain accurate asset records.
Vendor Management: Work collaboratively with service providers and vendors to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
Project Support: Provide support in the provisioning of IT infrastructure-related projects and handle other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in troubleshooting IT issues through log analysis and step-by-step tracing.
Work Style: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as a strong team player.
Growth Mindset: Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and tools for the continuous improvement of systems and processes.
