IT Infrastructure Engineer

We Are Looking For

We are looking for a driven IT Infrastructure Engineer to support the daily operations of our data center. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Network & Communications. He/she will station at the Data Center in Singapore and will be responsible for the IT Infrastructure activities of the Data Center.

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for capacity planning and expansion of the data center IT infrastructure (Server, Storage, Network, Security)
• Responsible for end-to-end performance monitoring and ensure the IT performance metrics and reliabilities KPIs are met
• Perform network and system administration tasks and technical support of IT infrastructure devices which includes system update/patching and troubleshooting
• Provide technical support on systems infrastructure (Active Directory, DNS, NTP, Radius Server, Intranet Portal, Monitoring Tools, Backup Server, Log Server)
• Perform the network and system device operating system tightening adhering to defined procedures and checklists. Maintain the IT infrastructure devices operating system in such a way that it is secured against unauthorized access
• Support all IT infrastructure activities with complete documentation
• Implement changes through Change Management Process on IT infrastructure components. Ensure change impact is evaluated, contingency and test plans are created to support the change request
• Identify, isolate, resolve, escalate and close problem ticket according to ITSM Incident Management Process
• Ensure backup and restore of IT infrastructure components are carried out, so that critical services can continue in the event of a disaster
• Work with principal IT infrastructure hardware vendors to resolve problems and implement new technologies
• Responsible for technical evaluation, proof of concept of new technologies and ensure interoperability to our network
• Involve in procurement of equipment and ensure compliance with company’s procurement policies
• Familiar with ISO27001 requirements and implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor / Diploma in Network or Computer Engineer or Equivalent
• Minimum 1 to 3 years experience in L2 infrastructure support
• IT Network and systems architecture understanding
• Technical support experience on Windows, Linux and VMware virtualisation platforms
• Good knowledge in IT security enforcement and compliance, IT Service Management
