About the Role: IT Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for IT Infrastructure Engineer to provide reliable end-user support and assist in managing desktop infrastructure, Cloud Infrastructure, Network Administration, System Administration, IT Support, and Security Operations user accounts, endpoint security, and IT assets. This role focuses on supporting Windows and macOS systems, ensuring security compliance, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with network and server teams to resolve issues efficiently. It is an ideal entry-level role for candidates starting their careers in IT operations and support.

Key Responsibilities of this Role:

A. System Administration and End-User Support

• Configure and prepare Endpoints for new employees, including operating system configuration, user access, network connectivity, and security settings.
• Handle employee IT support requests and track cases from logging through resolution and closure.
• Install required applications and software on employee laptops.
• Troubleshoot laptop hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN, Bluetooth, Microsoft Teams, mouse, and other peripheral issues.
• Manage operating system updates, security patches, and required software updates.
• Monitor Sophos antivirus and endpoint protection status and respond to security alerts.
• Support user data backup and restoration activities.
• Manage laptop handovers, employee returns, device wiping, and laptop reissuance.
• Coordinate laptop repairs, replacements, and courier activities for remote employees and other designated recipients.
• Perform routine infrastructure checks and troubleshoot operational issues as required.
• Provide printer, scanner, monitor, docking station, projector, and other hardware support.
• Manage CCTVs and report to vendor for any issues

• Godaddy DNS Records Management

A. IT Asset and Inventory Management

• Maintain and update the IT asset inventory
• Track asset allocation, employee assignments, hardware configuration, and device condition.
• Coordinate laptop allocation, collection, replacement, and inventory updates.
• Maintain relevant IT asset and equipment records.
• Perform routine infrastructure checks and troubleshoot operational issues as required.

B. Cloud Infrastructure Administration

• Provision, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Create and configure virtual machines, storage, databases, application hosting services, and other cloud resources based on development team requirements.
• Provision and configure Azure App Services, Azure Container Registry (ACR), and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Support application and container deployments to AKS and troubleshoot deployment-related issues.
• Provision and configure cloud AI services and deploy AI models or application modules as requested.
• Manage cloud environments and provide infrastructure support to development teams.
• Configure and manage role-based access control (RBAC) across Azure subscriptions, resource groups, and resources.
• Manage AWS IAM permissions and GCP IAM access based on business requirements.
• Follow the principle of least privilege when granting access and remove permissions when they are no longer required.
• Support cloud resource configuration, access management, and backup requirements.
• Provide Assistance to DevOps Team as needed

D. Network Administration and Security

• Monitor Firewall traffic, threat logs, and system logs.
• Verify Active/Passive High Availability (HA) status, synchronization, and failover readiness.
• Perform monthly firewall configuration backups and maintain configuration records.
• Manage and monitor Cisco Business 350 Series PoE switches, including port status, VLANs, PoE power, and connectivity.
• Perform switch configuration backups and support network troubleshooting.
• Monitor wireless access points through the access point controller, including device availability, connected clients, and performance.
• Perform access point controller configuration backups.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, slow network performance, Wi-Fi disconnections, and application connectivity issues.
• Investigate firewall-related application connectivity issues and implement approved firewall rule changes when required.
