About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, organised and technically minded IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator to join our Australian team.
This is an on-site role based at a data centre site, supporting IT infrastructure and hardware projects and coordinating with technical teams, vendors, contractors and customers to ensure smooth project delivery.
The role is well suited to someone with experience in IT infrastructure, IT hardware, technical support, field services, data centres or project coordination who is looking to develop their career in project delivery.
You will work closely with and report directly to the Australia Country Manager, with broad exposure to project delivery, technical operations and the local business.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate day-to-day activities for IT infrastructure and hardware projects
Support on-site installation, deployment, testing and commissioning activities
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, technicians and other stakeholders
Track project timelines, milestones, deliveries and on-site activities
Coordinate hardware, equipment, site access and installation requirements
Follow up with different parties to ensure project activities remain on schedule
Identify and help resolve general technical, operational and on-site issues
Act as a key coordination point between site teams, technical teams, vendors and management
Escalate more complex technical issues to the appropriate teams when required
Maintain project documentation, reports, records and status updates
Provide regular project updates to the Australia Country Manager
Support troubleshooting and resolution of unexpected issues during project delivery
Coordinate multiple activities and priorities across different project
About You
We are looking for someone with a technical IT background and strong coordination and communication skills.
You will ideally have:
2-4 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, IT hardware, technical support, field services, data centres or project coordination
Practical understanding of IT hardware and infrastructure environments
Experience working with or coordinating technical teams, vendors, contractors or suppliers
Good problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
Comfortable working in a predominantly on-site environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
A proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused approach
Willingness to learn and develop within a growing business
Excellent communication skills in English, with Mandarin language skills valued for building strong relationships with customers, partners and stakeholders across Australia and Asia.
