IT Infrastructure & Security Manager (m/f/d)

As an IT Infrastructure & Security Manager (m/f/d), you will play a vital role in maintaining, securing, and continuously improving our IT landscape across multiple locations. Working closely with internal stakeholders and technical teams, you will help ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our infrastructure while supporting the company's growth and innovation. We are looking for a hands-on professional who combines strong infrastructure expertise with a security-first mindset and enjoys working in a dynamic, international environment.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, cloud services, and endpoint devices.

• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of business-critical systems and services.

• In regard to security administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online

• Implement, monitor, and continuously improve security controls, policies, and best practices across the organization.

• Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions and endpoint security platforms for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.

• Support and maintain virtualization environments and infrastructure services.

• Monitor network performance and security, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and collaborate on infrastructure improvements.

• Review and maintain Firewall configurations (Fortigate Infrastructure, Sophos)

• Provide second-level support for complex infrastructure and security-related incidents.

• Contribute to IT projects, process improvements (BSI-Grundschutz, ISO /IEC 27001).

What you bring to the team:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification and professional experience (CCNA, CompTIA+).

• Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure administration, system management, or IT operations.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Intune, Entra ID, and related cloud services.

• Experience working with Windows environments; familiarity with Linux and macOS is highly desirable.

• Solid understanding of IT security principles, endpoint protection, identity management, and system hardening.

• Solid knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.

• Knowledge in backup procedures (Veeam Backup)

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured and solution-oriented approach.

• The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• A proactive mindset, willingness to take ownership, and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and security trends.

• Fluency in English; German language skills are considered a plus.
