IT Infrastructure Specialist - APAC - Perm Role

Travel Requirement: Approximately 15% regional travel within APAC

Job Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Specialist (APAC) to support and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 environment, end-user computing platforms, and regional technology operations. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, global IT teams, and external vendors to ensure stable, secure, and efficient IT services across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Operations

• Support and maintain Windows Server, virtualization, storage, backup, and core infrastructure services.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity to ensure operational stability.
• Perform system patching, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.

Microsoft 365 & Identity Management

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Manage Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, user accounts, security groups, and access permissions.
• Support identity and access management processes including MFA and security policies.

End User Computing

• Provide technical support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and collaboration technologies.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding activities, user provisioning, equipment deployment, and asset management.
• Support endpoint management platforms and ensure device compliance and security.

Networking & Security

• Troubleshoot issues related to DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, TCP/IP, wireless networks, and firewalls.
• Support implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity controls and endpoint security solutions.
• Assist with vulnerability remediation, security reviews, and compliance requirements.

Vendor & Regional Support

• Coordinate with vendors and service providers on infrastructure support, maintenance, and projects.
• Support APAC offices and collaborate with regional and global stakeholders.
• Participate in regional IT projects, office setups, infrastructure refreshes, and technology implementations.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Approximately 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Operations.
• Experience supporting enterprise IT environments and end-user computing services.
• Exposure to regional or multinational business environments will be advantageous.
