IT Infrastructure Support Engineer
- Perform day-to-day configuration, firmware upgrades, and troubleshooting for Cisco Core and Access Switches (VLAN routing, trunking, STP, port security).
- Manage and optimize the Aruba Wireless Network (Access Points and Controllers) to ensure strong Wi-Fi coverage across all three locations.
- Monitor site-to-site network traffic, bandwidth usage, and latency across core infrastructure.
- Monitor and manage security rules within AWS Native Firewall and AWS Security Groups.
- Administer on-premises Fortinet (FortiGate) Firewalls across three sites, including policy management, UTM features, and Site-to-Site IPsec VPN tunnels back to AWS.
- Provide Tier-2/3 technical support for enterprise end points including Windows/Mac PCs, laptops, network printers, copiers, and handheld RF scanners.
- Ensure stable wireless connectivity and roaming performance for RF scanners and mobile devices operating on the Aruba Wi-Fi network.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, including Cisco topology maps, Fortinet firewall rule bases, IP allocations, and asset inventories.
Job Requirements
- Overall Experience: 3 to 4 years of direct hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure and Network Administration in a multi-site corporate environment.
- Solid hands-on practical experience in managing enterprise firewalls, routers, switches, proxy servers, domain name servers (DNS), bandwidth management system, IPS/IDS and server/platform system.
- Good project management experience in implementing hardware solutions.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external hardware vendors.
