IT Intern

About the role

Sert Technology Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated IT Intern to join our development team on a full-time basis in General Trias City, Cavite. As an IT Intern, you will support our development initiatives, contribute to ongoing projects, and develop your technical skills in a collaborative setting. What you'll be doing

• Assist senior developers in designing, coding, and testing software applications

• Participate in code reviews and learn best practices from experienced team members

• Support the troubleshooting and debugging of existing applications and systems

• Document code, processes, and technical specifications under guidance

• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of software projects

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements

• Participate in team meetings and share ideas for technical improvements

• Complete assigned tasks and projects within set timelines

What we're looking for

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language (such as Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or C#)

• Basic understanding of software development principles and practices

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies

• Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work

• Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) is advantageous

• Experience with database management or web development is a plus
