IT Manager/Assistant Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and versatile IT Manager / Assistant Manager to lead and support our IT operations. The role is responsible for the governance, security, stability, and continuous improvement of our technology ecosystem, including IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, vendor management, and digital transformation initiatives.

The incumbent will manage both on-premises and cloud environments (Azure/AWS), ensure the reliability and security of business systems, drive IT projects from planning to implementation, and work closely with management, department heads, external vendors, and stakeholders to support organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity& Operations

  • Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, Active Directory, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), operating systems, applications, backup systems, and system management tools.
  • Oversee network performance, internet connectivity, firewall policies, VPN access, system availability, and cybersecurity controls.
  • Ensure IT infrastructure and operations comply with organizational security frameworks, PDPA requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure roadmaps, backup strategies, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP), and Cyber Security Incident Response procedures.
  • Install, configure, test, troubleshoot, upgrade, and commission hardware, software, and network systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

IT Projects & Digital Transformation

  • Lead and manage IT projects throughout the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, scope definition, planning, budgeting, resource allocation, implementation, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment.
  • Drive strategic initiatives such as system upgrades, website enhancements, automation projects, cloud adoption, and digital transformation programmes.
  • Identify project risks, technical bottlenecks, and dependencies, and provide timely mitigation plans and recommendations to Management.
  • Support and drive the successful implementation of the organization's Codigo Project, a key strategic initiative.

Enterprise Applications & Data Management

  • Oversee the deployment, maintenance, testing, integration, upgrade, and performance optimization of enterprise applications and business systems.
  • Conduct application performance, stability, reliability, and load testing, and work with vendors and developers to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
  • Collaborate with department heads and users to translate operational needs into functional requirements and technology solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity, secure system integration, and effective information management through regular system audits and health checks.

Vendor, Asset & Service Management

  • Act as the primary liaison for IT vendors, managed service providers, system integrators, software developers, telcos, and consultants.
  • Monitor vendor performance and enforce contractual obligations, service levels (SLAs), project milestones, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Manage software licensing, hardware procurement, IT assets, equipment inventories, and technology lifecycle planning.
  • Conduct vendor reviews and manage issue escalation to ensure service quality and operational continuity.

Stakeholder & Operational Support

  • Work closely with Management, Department Heads, the PDPA Officer, and users to support organizational and operational requirements.
  • Provide technical support for organizational activities and events where required.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience and professional certifications.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, systems, network administration, and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments, Active Directory, Azure/AWS cloud platforms, TCP/IP networking, cybersecurity, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Experience in managing enterprise applications, system implementations, vendor relationships, and IT projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in additional languages, including Mandarin, will be an advantage.
  • Comfortable working in a Buddhist religious environment and supporting organizational activities conducted within such an environment.

Working Arrangement 工作安排

  • 5-day work week
  • One weekday and one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) off each week
  • Required to work on Public Holidays when operational needs arise
