IT Manager
Salary: £48,000 - 60,000 per year
Requirements:- Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential.
- Experience of Epicor Kinetic would be advantageous.
- Project management experience is advantageous, along with cost management.
- A proven track record of quickly adding value in a fast-paced environment.
- Technically strong with a commercial mindset.
- An investigative mind, both on tasks at hand and in questioning whether there is a better way.
- Ability to progress many activities concurrently.
- Proven ability to work under pressure.
- Experience of developing processes and procedures.
- Flexible approach to work, as additional hours may be required.
- Lead all IT and communications for the company, ensuring all on-site and remote systems are maintained and appropriate security measures are in place.
- Manage relationships with external IT service providers for email, network, backups, and printers.
- Manage relationships with the ERP supplier and other external IT suppliers.
- Gain compliance for Cyber Essentials.
- Manage and create cost-efficient contracts for IT companies and telephony.
- Advise on IT infrastructure.
- Maintain, implement, and improve business automations.
- Manage the day-to-day ERP solution, currently Glovia and moving to Epicor.
- Assist in the implementation of a new ERP system.
- Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely manner.
- Preserve assets, information security, and control structure.
- Handle the annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
- Mentor and guide the IT Apprentice.
