IT Manager
Salary: £50,000 - 65,000 per year
Requirements:- Previous experience supporting IT within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment
- Previous IT management, senior infrastructure, systems administration or technical leadership experience
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows and Active Directory and/or Entra ID
- Experience supporting networks, servers, virtualisation, backups, firewalls and endpoint technologies
- Experience supporting business-critical systems such as ERP, CRM or other operational applications
- The ability to balance day-to-day technical support with projects, suppliers, cyber security and longer-term IT improvements
- Experience working in an environment where IT systems directly support production, engineering, operations or manufacturing processes
- Manage and support IT infrastructure, networks, hardware, software and business-critical systems
- Provide hands-on technical support and resolve escalated infrastructure and systems issues
- Support Microsoft 365, Windows, Active Directory, Entra ID, servers, networking and endpoint devices
- Support virtualisation, backups, firewalls, access management and cyber security
- Manage system changes, infrastructure improvements, upgrades and IT projects
- Work with internal stakeholders, external suppliers and support providers to maintain reliable IT services

We are recruiting an experienced IT Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day IT environment of our established manufacturing business in Norfolk. This is a hands-on role with direct ownership of local IT systems and infrastructure, while remaining involved in technical support, troubleshooting, security and improvement projects. The position is permanent and full-time, and is suited to someone who still enjoys being technically involved in a live manufacturing or production operation. This offers a varied role combining systems ownership, problem-solving and responsibility for improving our local IT environment.
