Fazer Recruitment has been exclusively retained by a market-leading business based in Chester to appoint a hands-on IT Manager. In this role you'll take ownership of the company's IT systems and be the first person colleagues turn to for help.

Most of your time as the IT Manager will go on day-to-day support and administration. Alongside that, you'll have the freedom to improve how IT runs across the business.

What you'll be doing as the IT Manager

• First and second-line support for users on site and remotely
• Running Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune
• Onboarding, licensing, and the asset register
• Building and documenting IT processes, policies and standards
• Running day-to-day cyber security, including Cyber Essentials, MFA and user awareness
• Managing the external partners and other suppliers

What you'll bring as the IT Manager

• Hands-on experience in an IT Support, Engineer or IT Lead role
• Strong Microsoft 365, Windows and Intune/Entra skills
• A good grasp of cyber security basics
• An organised, process-minded approach and the ability to explain tech to non-technical users
• Full Driving License / Car
