IT Manager / IT Development Manager

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead and manage the company's IT operations, application development, and technology infrastructure within the insurance brokerage industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in software development, particularly using C# and .NET technologies, along with a solid understanding of insurance business processes and systems.

• Lead and manage the company's IT operations, software development initiatives, system maintenance, and technology infrastructure.
• Oversee the development, enhancement, and maintenance of internal applications and business systems using C# and .NET technologies.
• Ensure the reliability, security, performance, and scalability of IT systems supporting the company's insurance brokerage operations.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
• Manage system integration with insurance companies, third-party platforms, and other relevant business applications.
• Oversee database management, system architecture, troubleshooting, and application performance optimization.
• Ensure data security, system access controls, backup procedures, and disaster recovery plans are properly implemented.
• Lead and coordinate the IT team, including developers, system administrators, and external IT vendors, where applicable.
• Manage IT projects, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful implementation and delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation, digitalization, and technology enhancements.
• Ensure IT systems comply with applicable data protection requirements and relevant regulatory standards within the insurance industry.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, software development, or application management, with relevant experience leading or managing an IT team.
• Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core technologies.
• Experience in developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting business applications and enterprise systems.
• Good knowledge of database management, preferably Microsoft SQL Server, including query optimization and database performance.
• Experience with system integration, APIs, web services, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience in the insurance industry, preferably within an insurance brokerage company, is highly preferred.
• Understanding of insurance business processes, such as policy administration, quotations, renewals, claims processing, and client or policy data management, would be an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Previous experience developing or managing insurance-related applications or brokerage management systems.
• Familiarity with integrations between insurance brokers, insurance companies, and other third-party systems.
• Experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and enterprise system management.
• Ability to balance hands-on technical responsibilities with IT team leadership and business support.
