IT Manager
Salary: RM 12,000 – RM 15,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Strategy
Drive IT strategy aligned with business objectives
Standardize systems, processes, and infrastructure across sites while allowing controlled localization
Establish IT governance, policies, and cybersecurity frameworks
Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and CAPEX/OPEX planning
2. SAP Business One (ERP) Leadership
Own SAP B1 system architecture, enhancements, and regional rollout/standardization
Ensure accurate and efficient use of modules (Production, MRP, Inventory, Finance, Sales)
Lead SAP B1 integration with MES, WMS, and external systems
Drive continuous improvement (reporting automation, dashboards, data accuracy)
Coordinate with functional stakeholders (SCM, Finance, Operations) to optimize workflows
3. MES & Shopfloor Digitalization
Lead deployment and optimization of MES
Ensure real-time production tracking (OEE, yield, downtime, WIP visibility)
Integrate MES with SAP B1 for seamless order execution and backflushing
Standardize shopfloor data capture, barcode/RFID, and machine connectivity (IoT)
Support Industry 4.0 initiatives
4. AI / Data & Advanced Analytics
Develop and execute roadmap for AI-driven manufacturing insights:
Demand forecasting
Predictive maintenance
Quality trend analysis
Yield optimization
Build and maintain data warehouse / data lake architecture
Implement dashboards and visualization tools (Power BI or equivalent)
Enable self-service analytics for business users
5. Infrastructure & Cybersecurity
Oversee IT infrastructure across sites (network, servers, cloud, backups)
Ensure high system availability and disaster recovery readiness
Implement cybersecurity best practices (endpoint protection, access control, audit compliance)
Support hybrid/cloud strategy where applicable
6. Project & Change Management
Lead cross-functional IT projects (ERP upgrades, MES rollout, AI initiatives)
Manage internal teams and external vendors/system integrators
Ensure structured change management and user adoption
Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget
7. Operations Support & Service Delivery
Ensure SLA-driven IT support for all sites
Manage helpdesk and incident management processes
Resolve critical system issues impacting production and shipments
Provide user training and documentation
Key Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
MBA or equivalent (preferred)
Experience
8–12+ years of IT experience in EMS / manufacturing environment
Proven experience managing multi-site IT operations (Asia preferred)
Hands-on experience with:
SAP Business One (must-have)
MES systems integration
Data analytics / BI tools (Power BI, SQL)
Experience in AI / Industry 4.0 use cases within manufacturing environments
Strong experience in system integration (ERP–MES–WMS–PLM)
Technical Skills
SAP B1 architecture, database (SQL/HANA exposure preferred)
MES platforms and shopfloor integration
API/integration tools and middleware
Data warehouse concepts and analytics platforms
IT infrastructure and cybersecurity fundamentals
Leadership & Competencies
Strong stakeholder management across operations, finance, and engineering
Ability to drive standardization across geographically dispersed sites
Results-driven with strong project execution capability
Strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving approach
