IT Manager - Warehouse Systems Support
Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager - Warehouse Systems Support to lead the support, administration, and continuous improvement of technology solutions that enable efficient warehouse and distribution center operations.
In this leadership role, you will oversee the performance and support of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory and logistics applications, handheld devices, RF technologies, barcode scanning solutions, and related warehouse technologies. You will collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Distribution Center Operations, Infrastructure, and Business Applications teams to ensure technology effectively supports business goals while delivering reliable and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Distribution Center Retail Systems Support team, ensuring reliable support and continuous improvement of WMS, inventory, logistics, and warehouse technologies.
Oversee incident, problem, change, release, and service request management to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and optimize support performance.
Drive system implementations, upgrades, technology deployments, and process improvement initiatives that enhance warehouse efficiency and business value.
Partner with Supply Chain, DC Operations, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Business Applications, and vendors to deliver seamless technology solutions and support.
Manage team performance, resource planning, stakeholder engagement, vendor relationships, governance, and compliance with IT and security standards.
Monitor operational KPIs, analyze trends, and provide strategic recommendations that improve system reliability, user satisfaction, and operational effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 6 years of experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), retail systems, supply chain applications, or enterprise business systems.
At least 3 years in a leadership, supervisory, or managerial capacity.
Proven experience supporting warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics systems, handheld devices, barcode technologies, and distribution center environments.
Strong knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM), systems integration, application lifecycle management, SQL, and supply chain business processes.
Demonstrated experience in team leadership, project management, vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning.
