IT Monitoring Senior Analyst
Description
Key accountabilities
- System monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring solutions to ensure the continuous availability and performance of IT systems.
- Incident management: Identify, diagnose, and resolve IT incidents to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
- Performance analysis: Analyze system performance data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on system performance, incidents, and improvements for management and stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams and other departments to support business operations and projects.
- Compliance and security: Ensure monitoring practices comply with relevant regulations and standards, and implement security measures to protect organizational data.
- Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance monitoring and IT service delivery.
Qualifications, experience & skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT operations or monitoring.
- Technical skills: Strong knowledge of IT monitoring tools and technologies, including network, server, and application monitoring. Proficiency in IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Analytical skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Project management: Experience in managing IT projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
