PermanentWhat you'll be doing:
As a Senior Network Engineer you will play critical role in designing, managing, and improving Avon’s network infrastructure that powers our global operations across manufacturing, retail, and direct selling. You’ll participate in designing technical solutions and will be responsible to provision and manage these environments the most effective, secure, and resilient way. Identifying and documenting best practices, troubleshooting issues, plus providing technical directions to the Network and Network Security teams are also key part of the role.Key responsibilities:
- Provide L3 support for network transport, routing, DNS, load balancing, and network automation
- Lead and mentor L2 analysts, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with security and audit standards
- Optimizing, monitoring and supporting network transport, routing, DNS, DHCP, and load balancing
- Leading and participating in troubleshooting connectivity, routing, segmentation, and application delivery issues
- Performing routine network maintenance (configuration changes, firmware upgrades, etc)
- Leading and participating in network lifecycle activities, cloud connectivity design and testing
- Design and implement new, effective solutions to improve security and effectiveness of our network infrastructure on-prem and in cloud (AWS)
- Participate in Network Security / Firewall related projects / activities, collaborate closely with colleagues to make meaningful outcome together
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in network security engineering within enterprise environments.
- Experience with load balancing solutions
- Understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), networking concepts and best practices
- Experience in using troubleshooting tools (Wireshark for example)
- Knowledge of cloud networking (mainly AWS)
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Good English communication skills (B2 or higher)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Citrix NetScaler/ADC or Infoblox DDI nice to have
- Exposure to cloud migration or automation projects nice to have
- Knowledge of SDN or network automation tools nice to have
