IT Network Engineer
About the role
As Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure to meet company requirements. You will deliver network solutions for various projects, ensuring optimal performance and security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other IT systems and monitor network performance through automation and provide support to any escalated issues as they arise. You will maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations and processes.
Key responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure to meet business requirements
Deploy network solutions for various projects, ensuring optimal performance and security
Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other IT systems
Provide Level 3 and 4 technical support escalations as they arise
Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations and processes
About you
Experience in design, deployment and support of network solutions
Strong hands-on network technical background, particularly in BGP protocol, routing, switching, and a broad understanding of WAN technologies
Strong network knowledge (Cisco/Juniper) - LAN and WAN network equipment and environments, analysis, routing, switching, wireless
Strong knowledge in network transport VSAT, MAN, MPLS/IPVPN technology and network management QoS features, DNS, DHCP, SNMP
Experience with network security practices and tools
University degree with emphasis in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Network or a closely related field with course work in technology-related subjects
More than 3 years proven experience in network design and deployment
Knowledge of Versa SD-WAN is a plus
Cisco certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is a bonus
