IT Network Infrastructure (Assistant) Manager
Description
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in the design, architecture, and deployment of cloud and on-premises network infrastructure, including AWS / Huawei Cloud landing zones, hybrid cloud connectivity (Direct Connect / ExpressConnect), and corporate office networks.
Manage and maintain enterprise network equipment and security devices, including Firewalls (Palo Alto / Hillstone), Switches, Routers, WAF, and Load Balancers.
Oversee network routing, traffic optimization, and DNS/EAS routing policies to ensure low-latency and reliable connectivity between Hong Kong and cross-border locations.
Support contact center and telephony infrastructure operations, including IP Phone setup, VoIP Gateways, and Genesys Cloud CX telephony routing.
Conduct regular network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity planning from a first-line infrastructure perspective to maintain high service availability.
Collaborate with internal cybersecurity and IT governance teams to implement network access control, network segmentation, and security compliance policies.
Manage vendors and service providers (e.g., local ISPs, Cloud providers, and hardware vendors) for change implementation, maintenance windows, and incident escalation.
Requirements:
Degree holder in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
Minimum 3–5 years’ relevant experience in network administration, network infrastructure design, or enterprise IT operations.
Hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, DC, BGP, OSPF, VPN, VLAN).
Familiarity with major Cloud platforms and cloud networking components (AWS Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, VPC, Cloudflare) is highly preferred.
Experience with enterprise firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Hillstone) and VoIP / Unified Communications systems is a strong plus.
Self-motivated, proactive, customer-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, or equivalent are advantageous.
Proficiency in spoken and written both Chinese and English (Cantonese and Mandarin).
