About Kolomoni

Kolomoni Microfinance Institution (Gambia) is a microfinance institution licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of The Gambia. We are a subsidiary of CapitalSage Holdings, a Nigerian-founded conglomerate established in 2014, operating across fintech, agribusiness, FMCG, healthcare and export trading, with a presence in multiple African countries and global markets.

We exist for the part of the market formal banking has largely passed over: traders, agents, merchants, MSMEs and ordinary earners who run real economic activity without a bank behind them. We serve them through personal banking and wallets, business banking, corporate and ecosystem payments, agency banking and merchant acceptance — delivered through a growing branch and service-centre network and the field teams behind it.

We are in a build phase. The structure, the propositions and the standards are being set now, by the people joining now.

What you’ll do

  • Keep the network running across Head Office and every branch: routers, switches, firewalls, access points and VPN.
  • Administer Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Set up, change and remove user access on approved requests.
  • Run backups, apply patches and keep security controls tight.
  • Give first- and second-level support to staff and fix hardware faults.
  • Set up equipment for new staff and new branches.
  • Keep the IT asset register and documentation current, and manage vendors and internet providers.

Requirements

  • A degree or HND in computer science, IT, engineering or a related field.
  • At least 4 years’ hands-on experience across IT support, network administration and system administration.
  • Strong command of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and VLAN, and of Cisco, Juniper or equivalent hardware.
  • Experience administering Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • The judgement to work on your own, and the patience to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues.

CompTIA (A+, Network+, Security+), Microsoft or Cisco CCNA certification, and experience in a multi-branch financial institution, are an advantage.
