About the role
We are seeking a talented and dedicated IT Officer to join our growing team at Highpoint Property Ventures in Cebu City. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and optimising our technology infrastructure and supporting the digital transformation of our business operations.
As IT Officer, you will be responsible for managing our networks, systems, and IT infrastructure to ensure seamless business continuity and operational efficiency. This role is integral to supporting our teams across the organisation and enabling us to deliver excellent service to our clients and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Managing and maintaining the company's computer networks, systems, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security
Installing, configuring, and supporting hardware and software systems across the organisation
Monitoring network performance, identifying issues, and implementing solutions to minimise downtime
Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users across all departments
Implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems from threats
Managing user accounts, access permissions, and system backups
Conducting regular system updates, patches, and maintenance activities
Documenting network configurations, system changes, and IT procedures
Collaborating with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues
Supporting the implementation of new IT systems and technologies as required
What we're looking for
A relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration or related field
Proven experience in networks and systems administration in a professional environment
Strong technical knowledge of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and servers
Proficiency with operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux
Experience with active directory management and user account administration
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection protocols
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation
CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ or equivalent certifications are highly desirable
Experience with cloud services, virtualisation, or IT asset management would be advantageous
