Summary
IT Officer at a large island resort in Sabah, Malaysia, assisting the IT Manager with day-to-day IT operations: software, website and hardware support, servers, firewalls, VPN, network cabling, and project implementation including CCTV. On-site role based on Mantanani Island with staff accommodation and meals provided.

Responsibilities:
Responsible to assist the IT Manager for the overall IT functions – Software / Website / Hardware, Project Implementation (including CCTV, etc), System Engineering - Servers, Firewall, VPN, Network – including cabling.
Responsible to assist the IT Manager to identify, propose and initiate improvement action(s) on Technical, Software, Website, Hardware, Project Implementation, System Engineering, Network and maintenance issues.
Responsible to assist the IT Manager to develop, evaluate and action IT related operation methods, processes, equipment capabilities, quality standards, cost and system to exceed Company expectations.
Responsible to assist the IT Manager to Plan, Organize and Lead the IT Operations of the JSK Mantanani Island Resort Division to achieve MD’s mission, vision and budget.
Ensure that all IT Operation activities under your charge are performed in the most effective and efficient manner.
Responsible for ensuring that all standards established are adhered to.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology / Software / System Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of working experience, result oriented and is capable of global approach to IT hardware / system engineering / server room / Firewall / Network / software / website management / CCTV management in the Hospitality industry.
Knowledge in Software / Website / Hardware, Project Implementation (including CCTV, etc), System Engineering - Servers, Firewall, VPN, Network – including cabling resources a prerequisite.
