About the Role

G.A.P Events & Marketing Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced and solutions-driven IT Officer to develop, implement, and manage technology systems supporting our last-mile delivery, warehouse, and transport operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for improving operational efficiency through system integration, workflow automation, real-time tracking, data management, and technical support. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics technology and the ability to translate operational requirements into practical and scalable IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain IT systems for last-mile delivery and warehouse operations.

• Manage and enhance Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS), delivery applications, and related platforms.

• Design digital workflows for parcel collection, sorting, scanning, driver assignment, route planning, delivery tracking, and proof of delivery.

• Integrate internal platforms with barcode scanners, mobile applications, GPS systems, APIs, customer portals, and third-party logistics platforms.

• Develop solutions for real-time parcel visibility, inventory control, vehicle monitoring, driver performance, and delivery-status reporting.

• Identify opportunities to automate manual operational processes and improve productivity.

• Maintain system security, user-access controls, backups, data protection, and disaster-recovery procedures.

• Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues affecting delivery or warehouse operations.

• Manage company servers, networks, databases, devices, software licences, and other IT infrastructure.

• Work closely with operations, warehouse, transport, customer-service, and management teams to understand business requirements.

• Coordinate with external software vendors, technology partners, and service providers.

• Prepare technical documentation, system manuals, process workflows, and user-training materials.

• Train employees, drivers, riders, and operational personnel on the proper use of relevant systems.

• Ensure IT systems and data-handling practices comply with applicable company policies and Singapore regulatory requirements.

• Support future technology projects and the continuous digital transformation of the company.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT systems development, implementation, administration, or project management.

• Experience in logistics, last-mile delivery, warehousing, transportation, courier services, or supply-chain operations is strongly preferred.

• Practical knowledge of WMS, TMS, delivery-management systems, barcode or QR-code scanning, GPS tracking, and proof-of-delivery solutions.

• Familiarity with databases, APIs, cloud platforms, system integration, cybersecurity, and data reporting.

• Ability to troubleshoot software, hardware, network, and operational system issues.

• Strong project-management, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and respond promptly to critical operational issues.

• Experience with route optimisation, fleet-management platforms, mobile applications, or workflow automation will be an advantage.
